"Up" Movie night

To kick off summer we had an "Up" themed movie night. Because summer quickly goes up up and away with the blink of an eye.

Made journals for the littles to record all their "summer"

adventures in

 

 

 Everyone put a penny in the "Paradise Falls" jar and made a wish

for something they wanted to do this summer

 Made "UP" houses out of cardboard boxes and balloons

the littles sat in their houses

during the movie

The boys went up to the woods for a fathers/sons campout. So the girls and I did a girls night- emphasizing their worth more than gold and that their fairy tales have already begun. Today is the day to begin acting like true princess.

 Prince Charmings come in all shapes and sizes- it's what's inside
that counts-

To remind them to always think good thoughts

 

We made lip gloss to remind them to

always speak kind words

 

We did manicures to remind them to
use their hands to help and serve others as a true princess
would

 We also did facials to remind them
to always keep their faces towards the "son"

 

of course it wouln't be a girls night without watching a princess show

 

Joy School

It was a fun year of learning, growing, and finding joy in the things around us.

Paisley loved rotating homes and spending time with her sweet Joy School friends.

 

Tweet Friends Picnic

Paisley has been wanting a playdate at the park with her sweet friends. A theme always gives me a little direction with get-togethers. So we had a tweet friends picnic (birdies). It was short and sweet ( the dark gray storm clouds held out just long enough for our little hour picnic). Ate lunch, ran around, cuddled in blankets, and painted bird houses. Paisley is  blessed to have so many tweet little people to call friends xoxo
