gr8 to be 8

Great to be 8

Accountable

My beautiful India was baptized on the 15th of October. She was so excited. She has such a pure heart. I watch her sweet example each and every day. I love you sweet girl.

Guests signed the mats so that they had a little keepsake of those who shared in their special day

India had a buddy baptism with a little buddy she has known since she was 2

India asked Austin to give the Baptism talk. He did a great job. He gave them an eraser to remind them they can erase any mistakes and a kit kat bar with the 4th article of faith and a kit KAT baptism reminder.

Brownie Scout

India bridged from a Daisy to a Brownie in Girl Scouts. Many adventures lay ahead.

Football

7th Grade Tackle Football. This guy had a ton of patience this season. His coaches swiched his position almost every week. He perservered and always showed up to practice and games with a smile ready for whatever and whenever they threw at him. He is a good example of a team player.
Fantastic Job Buddy-

Eight

Lucky, Lucky me. My sweet India decided that instead of having a friend birthday party this year, she wanted to have a mommy/daughter day. It was so much fun just spending the day with my little sunshine. We started the day at Denny's (they spoiled India with a free Grand Slam Breakfast for her special day)

Next we went to Build- A- Bear, a real treat. Not somewhere we go regularly.  Sooo many choices. India was the only customer in the store so she got lots of attention from the sales associate. She was in heaven.

The rest of the afternoon we bummed around the mall busying ourselves riding up and down the escalators and doing silly things that made her smile. She had a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut for her bday lunch.

This beautiful 8-year old is has one of the kindest hearts in the world. She wouldn't hurt a fly. She is has a eye that spots those in need a mile away. She is enchanting, happy, pure, loving, radiant, and joyful. She is such a pure delight to have in our home. She is beautiful inside and out- truly. I love you sweet girl. x0x0x0

Little Football Stud

I love watching this little dude playing flag football. I am not much of a football fan, but this little guy is amazing. He is the runt on the field, but boy oh boy is he the secret weapon. He is lightening fast. He gets that ball and runs as fast as he can to the end zone for a touch down. He is so little he can find all the little holes and fight his way through all the bigger kids. He teeters the out-of -bounds line and then wiggles his hips over to make a touchdown. He is a hoot.
When he was debating whether to play soccer or flag football this fall, he asked me "how do you play football". I told him the only thing I know is that you get the ball and run. That is exactly what he does and he does it well.

National Walk to School Day

Happy National Walk to School Day.

We are pretty blessed to live a couple of blocks away from our schools, so the littles usually walk or ride their bikes back and forth to school until the white stuff comes. They can usually walk or ride faster than I can drive in all the traffic. I love random days-
