1st dance class

She has wanting to go to dance class like her big sissies for a long, long, time- today was finally her day. She could hardly wait- of course she didn't make a peep and was a quiet little mouse the entire class- but inside she was hip hip hooraying like crazy!
She didn't want to take off her dance bag- the teacher finally got her to give it up.

13 candles

It was a happy, simple day of transition from being a "kid" to a teenager. Austin decided to forego the "friend" party this year. Just our little keller klan celebrated our favorite big brother Austin and all he is and does for our family. He woke up to a room full of balloons. Dad made him french toast topped with vanilla icecream. Austin's dinner request was meatball sandwhiches with pepperjack cheese and soda pop - such an easy boy to please. I am so thankful this sweet, strong, incredible spirit blessed me with the gift of motherhood 13 years ago. He is fun, loving,  a wonderful example, good with his siblings, smart, happy, energetic, kind, and my very favorite teenager in the entire world. I am so proud of you and love you buckets and buckets Austin. Happy 13th birthday my official teenager.

No Batteries Required

Lily was going through some of my old things and came across my "pound purry" cat from my childhood. She asked if she could have it- on the way home I saw her carefully inspecting it. I knew what she was looking for- finally I heard her say "So what do you do little kitty?" Nothing- our toys didn't have all the bells, whistles, ringers, and computers like toys do now. Everything didn't used to take batteries- they used to run on one type of energy called Imagination  .......

Oliver's little hands were wet and he couldn't get them to snap so he came to me worried and informed me that his hands had run out of batteries because they couldn't snap!

Teacher Gifts

Let's kick this year off with a splash- love upcycling things to bring a little sunshine to someone else. We always try and give the teachers a little something the first day of school

What a Kindergartener Looks Like

The second day of Kindergarten in reality is the real first day of school. Because mom isn't staying and he had to stay longer than 30 minutes. My bold, energetic, wild, crazy little guy was uncharacteristically shy, anxious, and quiet all morning. He was super nervous about going to school. He put a little stoway in his backpack for extra comfort.

Needing a couple extra minutes with mom before he braved the classroom

You are going to do amazing little dude. You have the power and energy to reach the moon and back. I love you. Just slow down a little bit on the growing, please. x0x0x

1st day of Preschool

Paisley started Preschool today with her Joy School. She was sooooooo excited. When it came time to go she got a little apprehensive but soon adapted and had a super day with her friends Kenai, Jenna, Jerom, Summer, Sean, Annika, and Corbin. She always has the most adorable little twinkle in her eye.
