Valentines For Kiddos Week 1

In the past the kiddos pick their favorite "pun" valentine

to make and give to all their classmates at school. With 3-4 of them in school

we usually end up making around 100 valentines. This year I decided to let the kiddos pick

out the traditional boxed Valentines for their classmates and to spoil them, my sweet Valentines instead with little love notes each day of February leading up to Valentines Day. Here is a peak at what the received for week one....most of the fun was found at the Dollar store.

We definitely don't celebrate the Lunar New Year in the traditional fashion

but it is fun to learn about other cultures, dress up, eat yummy food, and

watch fun movies...

Boot Scootin' Boogie

Daddy was out of town so Grandpa stepped up for the Girl Scout Daddy/Daughter Hoe Down Dance

The girls had lots of fun dressing up and boot scoot boogin' with Papa

so for New Years Eve we did a "night owl" theme

 

Whoooo wants to make some noise

 Whooooo's thirsty for Root beer floats

 

Whoooo wants to watch a movie

 

Whoooo wants a midnight kiss
Owl always love you

Whoooooo wants to bang in the New Year at midnight
All 6 night owls made it to midnight
