Filling our Days....

What do stay at home mommies do to fill their preschooler's day while the big kids are at school
(besides laundry, cleaning, organizing, shopping, laundry, cleaning, and more laundry)

We learn about the world we live in

                                                               We learn to love

We explore

                                                       Splash in the rain puddles

                                                                 Read lots of books

Chase Rainbows

Giggle

                                                                    Bake treats

Visit the library

Get dinner ready

Learn to be a true princess
who can feel even a little pea

Sometimes someone gets a nap in

Watch for the "big kids" to come home

Keep a look out for poisoned apples and witches

We learn to share

We grow and reach high

Go to the doctor to keep healthy and strong

We do lots of "Super" market shopping

Chase choo choo trains

Learn to write words

I wouldn't spend my days any other way

"Flying High" to 2

Rex is our little airplane-loving pilot. We incorporated some of his favorite treats like yogurt, pretzels, marshmallows, and mini donuts to celebrate his 2nd bday..... It was simple and perfect for this sweet  pilot flying into his next year of life xoxo

Hi Ho Silver..... Austin turns 14

When you turn 14, you don't want mom to make capes and feed your buddies "hero" sandwiches before sending you to watch "Man of Steel". When you turn 14, it's dad's turn to step in because dads are cool and fun.... at least this one is. When dad gives everyone a cap gun and mask and hauls a bunch of boys off to the movies to watch "The Lone Ranger".... it's incredible and the boys come back with crazy big smiles.

(Sept. 2013)

1st day of school

Fall is here, hear the yell
Back to school, ring the bell
Brand new shoes, walking blues
Climb the fence, books and pens
I can tell that we are going to be friends
Yes, I can tell that we are going to be friends

Silver Mountain

We took the gondola to the top of Silver Mountain....it was gorgeous. Some of the littles were a little unsure about going up, up, and up.....

Little Cruiser

Little Miss is an independent soul, when she decides she wants to do something, she does it. At the end of August she informed her daddy she was ready for the training wheels to go off. Within 5 minutes the little stinker had her bike riding independence and was up and down the street without assistance like a pro.
